RETREATS

Yoga Retreat for people with Scoliosis

10th - 13th November 2023

At our Yoga for Scoliosis Retreat, we offer you a unique opportunity to recharge and reconnect with your body. Alice integrates her knowledge of applied neuroscience into each session, providing you with the most current and informed tools for both physical and psychological resilience.

The stimulation of the vestibular system is a particularly important component of our sessions, as it is essential for our postural integrity, mobility and muscle strength - all of which help alleviate symptoms of scoliosis. This makes Loch Broom the ideal setting for our retreat. With its uneven mountainous landscape, frequent breezes and ever-moving sea, there is always a natural need to adapt to our surroundings. To harness the benefits of this natural environment we have included a number of outdoor activities such as wild swimming and hill walking into our programme. It is also a perfect opportunity to put lessons learnt on the mat into practice in the outside world.

Surrounded by like-minded people in the beautiful scenery of the Scottish Highlands, our retreat is the ideal space to take a break from the hustle and bustle of every day life. You will leave refreshed and equipped with all the necessary know-how to continue coping with scoliosis long after your return home.
